OLOTA OF OTA AND OGITECH FORGE STRONG EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE.

In a momentous occasion on 21st September, 2023, the Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa Dr. Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye, along with his esteemed Management team, paid a courtesy visit to the revered Olota of Ota, HRM Oba Professor. Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun II, Arole Iganmode. The visit was marked by warm camaraderie and a shared vision for the Institute's future. Dr. Abiodun, the visionary leader of OGITECH, extended his heartfelt greetings to the king and highlighted the pressing infrastructural challenges faced by the Institute. He earnestly implored the king to leverage his esteemed office to engage with prominent companies in the region, encouraging them to contribute to the institute's growth through their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Dr. Abiodun further challenged the king to visit OGITECH and leave a lasting legacy that would bear his name. He also expressed his determination to usher in a transformative era for OGITECH during his tenure. In response, HRM Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege, not only congratulated his close friend Dr. Abiodun on his recent appointment but also shared his profound belief in the paramount importance of education. The king vowed to closely examine the mass communication department at OGITECH, particularly the studio, with the aim of enhancing its effectiveness. He pledged that the companies within his sphere of influence would henceforth play a significant role in OGITECH's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. Drawing from his extensive academic experience as a lecturer in two prestigious UK universities, specializing in journalism, the king promised to bring talented individuals, both from home and abroad, to enrich the Institute's academic landscape. Furthermore, the significance of this visit was underlined by the presence of other Royal Fathers under the Olota of Ota, who bestowed their fatherly blessings upon OGITECH.
