About The Department
OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT Electrical/Electronics engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with real-world application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism and it is the forefront of new technologies in several industries. The department is dedicated to finding solutions to big challenges and preparing students for leadership positions in a complex world. COURSE OBJECTIVES Generally, the goals and objectives of electrical and electronics engineering training should be tailored towards national building and aspirations in both industrial development and technological freedom. AVAILABLE MODE OF STUDY Full-time, Part-time and Evening Part-time Entry requirements for ND programme O'level Credit pass in: ENGLISH LANGUAGE MATHEMATICS PHYSICS CHEMISTRY and any other. Entry Requirements for HND Programme The requirement for ND programme plus a minimum of lower credit grade in National Diploma programme, i.e a minimum CGPA of 2.50. • Evidence of completion of one year IT for students with lower credit and above, and 2years for students with pass grade in ND Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
