Public institutions are increasingly facing the challenges to improve on their service delivery in relevant areas of their mandate, A basic requirements in achieving this is having adequate quality of personnel to drive the needed changes in the public sector, the programme will play an important role in producing critical mass of professional public administrator and for those who want to pursue academic career in public institutions, you are highly welcome. The department of public administration become full-filled ever academic department in 2016/2017 academic session when it was granted resource approval to run the ND programmed by the accreditation visitation panel of the national board for technical education (NBTE) The department now offers full-time programmes: a) Two-year ND public Administration b) Two-year and public administration (daily and weekend part-time). Admission requirement: General requirements: five (5) credits pass in WASSCE, GCE, SSCE, or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings. COMPULSORY CREDITS Credit pass in English language, Government and three (3) subjects from any of the following: Economics, Geography, commerce, Account/ book keeping, civic education, Agric. Science/biology, marketing, ICT/ computer studies/ Data processing, language, CRK:IRK, history, store management and insurance with at least a pass in mathematics
